Basic Sleeping Bag

The standard rental packages will be defaulted as 2 days 1 night (Quantity : 1)  starting from the day of rental.  Additional days will be calculated per quantity.  (ex: 3 days 2 night = Quantity 2)

Free delivery is limited to Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, and Kichijoji only.

Other locations may be arranged for an additional fee.

 

Delivery Time: 

Delivery will be available between 7:00am to 10:00am.

 

Return Time:

Return will be available no later than 10:00pm.

 

(EX:  If you pick up the equipment on Jan 1st at 9:00am, your rental period will end on Jan 2nd 10:00pm)

 

Late Return:

When user is unable to return the gears as scheduled, please contact us by email (maya.basecamp.tokyo@gmail.com) as soon as possible. If we are not being contacted within 3 days of the scheduled return date, your personal data will be shared to respective government departments follow-up.

 

A 30,000 yen damage deposit is require when picking up the rental equipment.  Payment can be made by cash only. Deposit is use for offsetting the compensation for damage to the equipment or fine for late rent.  If the deposit amount is insufficient, the company will have the right to charge an additional fee.  The deposit will be returned after equipment check. 

 

Check:

We recommend customers doing a thorough check for all equipments within 5 hours of pickup. Please contact our staff within 5 hours if equipment is broken or is not functioning properly.  Once past the 5 hours window, it is assume that there is a mutual agreement to the functionality to all camping equipments.  For any discrepancy upon return,  we will have the right to charge customers for the loss according to our standard retail price as compensation.

 

Return:

Customer should use our gears properly and legally.  All equipment must be return according to the packaging and cleaning standards as instructed by the staff when you pick up the equipment, otherwise the company will charge customer the related cleaning fees. If the equipment is damaged due to any factor or the returned equipment cannot be leased again, it will be deemed as damaged and customers will be charged for the loss according to the market retail price as a compensation.

Tent or Tarp - 7000 yen per item 

Cook set - 5000 yen per set 

-15% of total rental fee/ difference of loss would be charged as handling fee for any cancellation/ amendments within 3-7 days of pickup.

-30% of total rental fee/ difference of loss would be charged as handling fee for any cancellation/ amendments within 1-2 days of pickup.

-50% of total rental fee/ difference of loss would be charged as handling fee for any cancellation/ amendments on the day pickup (before we send you the products).

 

Bad Weather Arrangement:

If there is an expected typhoon or heavy rain within your rental period, please contact us at least 1 day before your scheduled pickup date.  We will review case-by-case for the eligible refund amount.
